Laughter is one of the best medicines around. Comedians can make you laugh so hard that you actually cry from being so happy. Some of the best comedians today are Chevy Chase, Dave Chappelle, Don Rickles, Bill Cosby and Chris Rock.

These comedians are spread across many generations, but still can bring humor to any stage. They all seem to have been either born or raised in the Northeast section of the United States. Although each one has a different style, they have all performed stand up comedy. Each comedian brings his own style to the stage.

Chevy Chase is often known as one of the most likable comedians. Don Rickles is known as an insult comic and has done better than any other comedian in the insult comic arena. There are not many subjects that Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock or Bill Crosby don't add humor to. They talk about race, family and everyday living.

All of these comedians have had their own television shows during their careers. Most of them have had several. While Saturday Night Live had Chevy Chase and Chris Rock, Don Rickles was a regular on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Bill Cosby had a couple of hit TV shows, including The Cosby Show. Chris Rock has been featured in several television shows and movies. Dave Chappelle has seen a lot of success with the Chappelle Show.

Whatever type of comedy you like, you can't go wrong with one of these comedians. If you need to laugh, just watch one of these comedians, and in a few minutes you will be laughing so hard it brings tears to your eyes. It would be a great show to get all of these guys together on one stage.
